They even provided a cool box and some beach chairs with parasols which were very helpful. The location of the villa is great being fairly close to Argostoli and Skala. We wouldn’t have changed a thing, but for those who have the popular tourist items on their lists (Melissani Cave, Fiscardo, etc) you should note that this is almost an hour away. We liked driving the island and seeing little towns, so this suited us well.

There was... read more no expense spared: from the luxury tile finish, to the comfortable and stylish furniture, beautifully fitted kitchen and the very warm welcome (and excellent contact throughout our stay) from the hosts. Location was excellent too, a nice walk to three lovely quiet beaches (be prepared for some hill walking) , as well as great little tavernas, a bakery, a creperie and a choice of 4 very well stocked supermarkets within a 10 minute walk. From the electric gated entry we knew we’d be in for a relaxing stay. The kids adored all of the following: the gorgeous pool with its two tiers, the evening bbqs, the local goat herd neighbours who visited every evening for any leftover lettuce, powerful showers, and the electric shutters over all windows that sealed in the cool. Such a fabulous villa and well worth the price tag. Had lots of privacy too, which helped recharge the batteries. Thank you!

With three children the pool and gardens were perfect. The host went out of his way to be helpful and friendly, making suggestions for restaurants local car hire and trips. If you get the chance visit Ithaca with Sami star boat trip and Antisamos beach, places we will never forget. The island is beautiful and staying in this beautiful villa just made it even better.
